I am 43 years old and have a colourless, odourless white discharge for over 10 days after a heavy 6 day period. This has been the case for almost a year now. It started with a 3 day discharge (post period) and has now gradually increased to 14 days. I do have an intra mural fibroid. My heamoglobin drops to 8.6 and then after a 6 months dose of iron supplements my haemoglobin jumps back to 13. My concern is whether the discharge and drop in haemoglobin is due to the fibroid or not.

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
The drop in hemoglobin and increase in discharge could be attributed to the fibroids (heavy periods ad increased vaginal discharge). The changes in the discharge could also indicate perimenopausal symptoms. Consider getting an examination done on the discharge to make sure it is not due to infection. If the fibroid is grown much then it might need resection (removal). Continue to maintain a good diet with iron supplements, and iron containing foods.
Take care.
