Q: Abdominal pains and menstruation
asked by: DoctorQuestion on November 13th, 2008
I had masturbated in my bathtub with the spa jets and salts in the water. It's been almost a week and it hurts in my abdomen like there is an air bubble or something in there. It hurts to move quickly or when I bend to sit and such. Is this something that will go away by itself or do I need to see a doctor? Thank you for you time.

According to the symptom you report, an abdominal pain, which lasts interchangeably for a week, it seems that something has to be done right away. Pains in the abdomen are considered by default as a serious pathology, until the opposite is proved. There is always a theoretical possibility during this kind of actions, for forced air to enter female genitals either directly or via blood vessels. You might want to consult with your family doctor about these abdominal pains, but first make sure they are not a result of PMS-premenstrual syndrome.
