I am a 33 year old woman. I have lower
right abdominal pain. I have had a test
to check my appendix and bowel
obstructions, both are fine. I had an
ultrasound to check my ovaries, which I am
unsure why since my pain is 2 inches to
the right of my right ovary. That came
back fine. My doctor suggested waiting a
week and if the pain does not go away she
is going to send me to a specialist. I
had fibroid tumors on my uterus and had to
have it removed a few years ago. A month
ago my doctor had me do a bunch of blood
test that revealed some kidney problems,
she had me do a 24 hour urine and told me
to repeat it in 4 months, this week she
told me my sodium is low and we are
re-checking it in 1 week. Could my
kidneys be a cause of this pain?

Yes that could very well be it...But you
need to wait until all the tests are done
to know for sure.
