I was diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis over 6 years ago. It has been under control and I have been off medication for about a year. Recently, I had blood tests that indicated my liver enzymes were somewhat elevated, which has not happened since I first began treatment. The doctor put me back on medication (Imuran) and will be re-tested in about 4-6 weeks. My stomach has been irritated and I have almost constant pressure. I recently began taking 4 full dose aspirin for back problems, since I can't take ibuprofin. I'm not sure if that could have caused my stomach problems and/or the elevation of my elevated enzymes. I take Aciphex every day, so I can't figure out what is going on. Any suggestions?
