I had my 2nd c-section 6 months ago, and after 17 days of surgery i bend down to pick something from the floor and since then i have abdominal pain on the right side. I had done the CT scan but results came normal. Now i feel pain in the right leg also and this pain is all the time and due to this not able to do anything. Right now i cannot take stairs and walk as it hurts more. I have been to couple of doctors and they prescribed pain and muscle relaxant but nothing seems working. Not sure what to do next.. Please help Thanks.

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
You should consider visiting an Orthopedic surgeon for further evalutaion and go ahead with getting MRI scan to look for any nerve compression or defects being the cause for your symptoms. Take adequate rest. Treatment as appropriate (based on the examination findings and investigation results) would be started to help you. You can also consider requesting for physiotherapy to help with controlling the symptoms. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately.
Take care.

Hi Dr.- Thanks for your response.

My Dr.ordered MRI for the following:

Pelvis w/wo contrast and
Lumbar Spine wo contrast

1. For Pelvis - The result says - " Trace Free fluid, likely physiologic:

2. For Lumbar spine - It says ' Moderate broad based disc protrusionat L5-S1, annular tear. Mild spinal canal and lateral recess compression. No significant disc disease at other levels.

Can you please review this and let me what you conclude from this. As my appointment with my Dr. is 10 days away and cannot wait that long.

Before this MRI (1month before) i went for physical exercise as suggested by my earlier Dr. and things become more worse than before. for physical exercise i went only once (for evaluation) and after evaluation (45 mins) i'm feeling more pain on the right side of my body which was not there before.

Recently i started feeling some muscle tightness and stiffness on my shoulder, face and head too. which was not there before.

Can you please provide your valuable suggetion.

thanks,
