This started March 5, I woke up with severe diarrhea and vomiting. I was sick for 2days, and ever since then, my stomach has been nauseated, but no more vomiting. March 9, while laying in bed that night, I had an "attack" of severe pain in my upper middle abdomen-just below my breastbone down to my navel. This lasted about 4 minutes, and doubled me over. It subsided, only to come back 30 minutes later, again, lasting about 4 minutes. It then stopped, but since then, I have had constant nausea with increased stabbing pain in the same area in a daily basis.

I have had a CT scan if my abdome and pelvis, which did not show anything. I had an endoscope, which showed nothing going on in my stomach (no GERD, hiatal hernia, ulcers, etc). I have had labs drawn in February 2012 (before this started) and the only values that were abnormal were my cholesterol (247), MPV (Cool, LYMPH% (44.5). Also, my LYMPH # in February was 2.5.

My past abdominal surgery includes: laparoscopic/laser x 2 for endometriosis, gallbladder removed 2001, hysterectomy 2008, oophectomy (ovaries removed) 2009, c-section 1999.

I have tried various drugs for IBS: Reglan and Bentyl most recently with no effect on my pain and nausea. The only medication that helps (and only takes the edge off) is Percocet.

A couple of other items of interest: I had a CA125 drawn, but have not gotten the results back yet. Also, one thing that I have found that increases my pain tremendously is driving: sitting in a semi-slumped position really increases the pain. If I can stretch out (lean back), it is better. I also have been having what I thought were hot flashes (I haven't had them for 2 years, and take no hormone replacement). I notice these hot flashes are worse when I'm having more pain.

Any advice as RO what I should do from here would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your time!

More labs were drawn March 30, 2012, and the abnormal values were: ANION GAP (9), ALK PHOS (141), LYMPH # (3.4), and BASO # 0.0. My LYMPH % was 43.9 (a little down).

I apologize, I forgot to say: I'm also bloated, and have gained 4" in my waist since this started but haven't gained any weight, per se. My doctor has said I feel "pregnant", and my abdomen is tight. I have had no diarrhea or constipation since the initial illness that started all this.
