Hello, lately I have been experiencing a recurring lower right abdominal pain after sexual intercourse. After a week of rest, the pain goes away, then comes back after intercourse. Is this normal? Thank you kindly.

Hi there, thank you for posting your question on Ehealthforum. This is not intended as a substitute to visiting your own doctor.

No, it is certainly not normal to have abdominal pain after intercourse. Inguinal hernia is just one suggestion. But then, what would I know. You really do need to see a doctor about this. Does position during intercourse make any difference? This is the first question the doc will ask you.
