Today is the 4th day I have experienced these abdominal muscle spasms. I did recently start a new ab workout, but the spasms happen in one tiny spot and i dont know why. about an inch below my belly button and an iin or so to my left. It isnt continuous, it comes one at a time, sometimes a minute a part and sometime less frequent. Can anyone explain this? It is not painful, just annoying. I have no idea if this could be something sexually related, but I couldnt find a better forum to post it in.

Spasms are a muscle problem. Spasm can be caused by insufficient drinking regime, muscle overload or absence of some minerals (as magnesium). Since the spasm is only in one place, I don't think its anything serious.

I agree. I just started getting these same mucsle spasm's and I know it's from not drinking enough water. This is my fourth baby and I've keep having new problems arise from dehydration. Lots of water! They are quite painful and I can sympathize with the pain. There's nothing you can do until the spasm runs its course. Thanks!
