Q: abdominal cramps without bleeding-could i be pregnant

ive been suspecting i am pregnant after having unprotected sex on the 9th day after my period. my period started april 28 and i had sex on the 6th of May. Now i feel bloated every now and then and i feel cramping in my lower abdomen. i was thinking it cud be associated with the lining of the fetus to the uterus, but ive just learned that this cud only happen within 8-10 days after ovulation. i dont feel like i ovulated on the 12th if my cycle is exactly 28 days. my usual cycle is 28 days or longer. my question is, should i really have to wait for the time my period is about to start before taking home pregnancy tests? another one is, if i didnt ovulate on the 12th ( i think i ovulated on the 14th), is it still possible that i get pregnant after that one incident? kindly help me ease my worry

There's a good chance you aren't. Its possible that how you are feeling is more psychological. After having unprotected sex, I've known of friends who feel the same way you seem to. I think i would consider it paranoia, rather then your body reacting to being pregnant. It would be hard to notice that you are this early anyway.
