Last month I had the implant removed. I got my period a couple of days later on the 1st Jan. It is now the 7th Feb and I have seen no sign of another one.
I'm used to being irregular as I have always been but a whole week seems like a bit of a red flag. Is this normal after the implant is removed or should I be worried?
I have not had any unprotected sex and I have been pregnant before. I knew immediately last time, before I even missed anything, due to constant waves of overwhelming sickness. This time I feel fine?
Should I still be worried or am I over reacting?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Chances of post-contraceptive use amenorrhea or ovarian suppression cannot be ruled out completely as causes for your absent periods. If you suspect chances of pregnancy, consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately).
If pregnancy gets ruled out, consider going ahead with thorough examination and further evaluation to look for the underlying cause for the absence of periods that you describe. Treatment as appropriate (based on examination findings and investigations results) would be started to help you regulate your periods. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet.
Take care.
