As a child at the age of about seven I was ran down by a car and nearly killed, and my father beat me while drunk. And as an adult I am experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, and a host of other mental problems. Can the auto accident and my fathers psychological be responsible for these problems? Just curious Rolling Eyes

Yes, it can VERY be responsible for that. There are LOTS of things that could lead to severe mental disorders. I have PTSD, MDD, Severe Anxiety, panic attacks, and severe anger issues all stemming from not only my childhood but also after a very traumatic pregnancy.

Have you talked to a therapist or psychologist yet?

Also served as a "grunt" in Vietnam.

But I am just wondering if all these events have cummulative effect on the psychology of a person, and their character. What do you tink?
