Hello. The other day I went to use the bathroom and realized I had a small bump on the inside of my lambium minus. It is really painful and it burns when I urinate. My bf told me today that he has 3 painful bumps and it hurts him when he pulls the skin back. I can't see a doctor until next month. Can anyone tell me what it might be? PLEASE!!

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is difficult to comment on the bump (inside of labia minor) that you describe without examining it. The possibility of infective causes, infected & blocked Bartholin's gland duct, furuncle, or STD etc., cannot be ruled out completely. Do not ignore your symptoms. Visit your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination and further evaluation to look for the undying cause. Get started on treatment as indicated by your examination findings/investigation results. If infective cause is detected, get your partner also treated simultaneously to prevent chances of re-infection. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Avoid vaginal douching, use of harsh soap or perfumes in the area. Use loose cotton undergarments and avoid use of tight fitting clothes. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately.
Take care.
