A question for those with circulatory knowledge.

I'll start by saying I'm a bit of a hypochondriac and a worrier.

Lately I've been concerned that putting pressure on the veins/arteries of my face while sleeping could impede blood flow to or from my brain or facial extremities. There are two veins that wrap around my jaw which I consider prone to being pinched because I sleep face-down. I've been struggling to sleep for fear that they'll become pinched against my jaw bone and the pillow. I realize that millions or maybe billions of people sleep this way and this topic would probably be spoken about more often if it were really a concern, but I need more info on these veins (arteries?) and the circulatory system of the head/brain before I can rest assured (no pun intended) that I won't have a stroke or go brain dead or something.

I'm no doctor but I'm assuming these veins or arteries over my jaw deliver or receive blood from my face rather than my brain, which is less a concern to me but still worrying. Okay, thanks. I hope someone can answer this.

I also wear headphones quite frequently that put light pressure on a couple veins (arteries?) on my temple. Is that a concern?
