Q: A lump on vagina?

I have had a small lump on my vagina (not poking out of the skin). I've had it for a little over a month now, and just today it started to itch badly. I also noticed that the pubic hairs around it were turning white/gray, i am only 20 years old.. Please can someone help me out and give me an explanation. I haven't went in for any testing, so im unaware of what is going on down there. I am praying its no type of cancer. If you would like please write me.

Thanks So Much!
Hollister

a lump on vigina
It's only an infected hair follicle(bump). A hot bath should open the pore and you can squeeze the fluid out as if its a pimple. If you can't get it out, then leave it alone until it comes to a head(the surface of your skin).

Yeah i agree with charmin1253...nothing to worry about to much and it should go with aq bath as charmin explains ....If it doesn't then you need to visit your doctor because if the hair follicle does get infected then it is very painful and you will end up needing surgery...Not meaning to scare you or anything just wanted to tell you...Jenny

you could try a hot compress with vaseline. The heat will draw it out and the vaseline will soften the skin

use a needle or small scissors and snip the top of it. That will let the fluid out.
