Hi,

Welcome to the ehealthforum. I am glad to help you out. There’s a possibility of the lump being due to haemorrhoids (piles) and hence will suggest you to consult a surgeon and get yourself examined. Hemorrhoids is the commonest cause of the lump in the anal area along with painless bleeding.

The other possibilities are of a boil or an anal fistula. My sincere advice is to get it evaluated from a surgeon.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
