I have a friend who is paranoid about death. He has never been to a doctor or counsellor as he is only 14. Quite a few people close to him have recently died so he is now convinced death is 'stalking' him and that he, or a close friend, is next. Is there anything i can do to help as he doesn't have supportive parents?

Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum

It is quite common to have this feeling as some near and dear ones have unfortunately passed away.It is very necessary to take him out of the situation as he can land up in depression and stress.
Talk to him and do not let him be alone.
Ask him to do what he enjoys as music, dance, driving etc.
Consider taking him to a Psychiatrist for a counselling session and if required medications for treatment.

Take Care!
