I've had four EKG's in the last eight days, after spending five hours in the ER.
Heart rate was 200 bpm. Had to wear a monitor for 24 hrs. Next week will have a Echocardiogram done. Went thru this eight years ago. Doctors said it was an over active thyroid. Had the raido active iodine on my thyroid. Now again it's acting up.
My blood pressure is always great. This all happened one morning after I had a good amount of dark chocolate with my decaf, so thought I was having a panic attack or a type of "rush". Can a goofy thyroid cause my irregular, fluttering heart beat ?
