My clitoris has a dark red area on it that almost looks like a contusion or a blood blister but not fluid filled like a blister, one edge is really dark, like dried blood but under the skin. It also itches like crazy. I've had a yeast infection off and on for about three months .. I tried using hydrocortisone cream and antibiotic ointment on it but nothing seems to help. It's pretty alarming looking.

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
It is difficult to comment on the ‘clitoral lesion’ that you describe without examining you. This could due to repeated infections, irritation or injury. You should consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist for examination to confirm the exact diagnosis and origin for the ‘lesion’ that you describe. Get started on treatment as suggested (excision, antibiotic treatment, or both etc.) after the examination and investigations.
If you are sexually active, consider getting your partner also treated simultaneously (if infection is detected) to prevent chances of re-infection.
Take care.
