a brain tumor

i 37 years old good friend of mine was diagnozed having brain tumor.she was sent to further examinations.she is very afraid to go.
the only symptom she feels is headackes from time to time.
i wanted to ask wheter there is a good probability that the tumor is benign?
what is the probability that it is cancerous?
