A Review of the FitDesk X Compact Pedal Desk

Details:

The FitDesk X Compact Pedal Desk cycling machine is a different approach compared to traditional exercise bikes as it allows you to pedal while you work on your laptop. It gives you a stable and solid surface to work so you can rest your laptop on while you use the semi-recumbent bike to burn some extra calories. Its fairly compact and with measurements of 16 inches by 24 inches by 46 inches. Also, you are protected by a 30 day, 100% money back guarantee and a 1 year warranty. If anything happens to go wrong with the FitDesk X Compact Pedal Desk in the first year, you will be fully covered.
Here are the main features of the FitDesk X Compact Pedal Desk :

A limit of 250lb upper weight.

Good Points:

1)Quiet:- A very important feature of the FitDesk X Compact Pedal Desk is how quiet it is because concentration is key when working. The bike is exceptionally quiet and does not make any noises as you cycle that would distract you from your work. The fact is, it is a lot quieter than many of the exercise bikes that are available on the market. This will give you ability to concentrate on your laptop.

2) Unique:- One of the best features with the FitDesk X Compact Pedal Desk is by far the completely unique design compared to the traditional exercise bike. While including a small desk to the front of an exercise bike might sound like a very simple idea, its one that has not been put into action until now. The awesome thing about this idea is it really works. Usually you have to find a way to do your work and you have to find a way to include exercise. With the FitDesk X Compact Pedal Desk you can get the best of both worlds. If you want to check or send emails, read the news, or check Facebook, you will now be able to get some exercise also. You no longer have to feel guilty if you cant make the gym because you have to much work as you can do your work while sitting on the FitDesk.

3) Secure:- Even though working and exercising at the same time sounds like a great idea, the last thing you want to happen is your laptop to getting damaged because you lose your balance or are cycling too fast. The FitDesk X Compact Pedal Desk takes care of this issue by giving you a set of large rubber that can be used to secure the laptop to the unit. If you happen to slip or happen to shake the unit by accident, the laptop is held secure making sure that it does not fall off.

Bad Points:

1) Limited Functionality:- While the FitDesk X Compact Pedal Desk is a great way to get some work on your laptop done while burning some calories, it does not have the same features as a top of the range exercise bike. The monitor is basic so it only shows a few stats as you cycle. Also, it does not contain a heart rate monitor to measure your heart rate or give you the ability to use workout programs. Their also is a larger range of level resistance on the top exercise bikes. You will be dissapointed if you are expecting the FitDesk X Compact Pedal Desk to offer all the features of a fully loaded exercise bike.

Summary:

The FitDesk X Compact Pedal Desk is a great, innovative idea which allows you to fit a little exercise into even the busiest days. Its effective, quiet, and stable and provides you with an excellent working environment. If youre really expecting the FitDesk X Compact Pedal Desk to give you a complete alternative to the gym then youre probably best saving your money and buying a traditional exercise bike instead. Having said that, if you feel like youre constantly sitting in front of a computer and never can find enough time to get some exercise, youll love the FitDesk X Compact Pedal Desk.

Hi Mike, Great article and recommendation. I came across this site and article while sitting at my computer. I used to love cycling but now I just don't get enough exercise but certainly spend lots of time at my computer. So I went and took a look at the reviews. WoW! people love the FitDesk. This sounds like a great solution for me. I am signing up for your forum and ordering me a FitDesk. Thanks for sharing this.
