How do you handle this?

March 9th, 2012 by lifeofthedifferentlyabled

All my life my physical disability has probably been something that people see and perhaps unintentionally judge me for, you know judge a book by its cover. I wish that I could whole heartedly say it doesnt bother me and I have stopped caring. As a teenager it sucked I didnt talk about it much because what could be done? I feel like physical disability is an area of unknown for people and it is because of this that I feel they tend to shy away from that which makes them uncomfortable.

With that said how do you deal with this in your own life or the life of your child? On Monday’s post I will address some things that have worked for me
