This studywas in the headlines today. Merck finally got the results they were looking for. Note that the drug did not lower plaque build-up and that all the subjects tested were eating a low-fat/ low/cholesterol diet. Vytoin (a combination of ezetimibe and a statin) might be an improvement over a statin alone, but it was not tested against a dietary change.
"Raw Foods is a really good idea. I was a vegetarian for a really long time, but, didn't get enough protein. There is another great book about 80/20. 80 percent raw foods, and 20 percent cooked foods. It's not a bad diet!"
